The work place is evolving. 

With recent advances in digital technology, the work place is fast becoming digital. Organizations all over the world are spending millions of dollars on research in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Programming, Big Data Analytics, Digital Strategy, Marketing, etc and this development is at no small pace redefining what work is.

The question we are asking is: How prepared are we for the future of work and the kind of jobs this digital evolution is creating?

It is against this narrative and the purpose of SyncAfrica (our organization) that we have decided to bring up conversations on how to position Nigerian graduates, young professionals and the entire workforce to take advantage of this development.

The Digital Workforce Conference is a gathering of experts in Learning and Development, Human Resources and Digital Technology, Nigerian graduates and young professionals to discuss these pertinent issues.

We believe these discussions will cascade into a structured learning and working system that will position young Nigerians/Africans to stay relevant in the digital economy and also play a significant role in the global workforce by learning and having relevant work experience in emerging knowledge areas.

• The first edition of the Digital Workforce Conference held in Lagos in September 2017 with an attendance of over 300 participants.

• Earlier this year we launched the pilot phase of our Big Data Academy with about 15 participants. 

• Our online graduate finishing school has helped over 500 Nigerian young graduates gain clarity in their careers and become outstanding professionals.

• Our monthly book club has provided a platform for young professionals to learn and work on projects aimed at achieving the vision of Sync Africa. 

We are looking into the future with an unflinching confidence that we will embark on other projects and programs which will help us achieve our big dream to project Africa into greatness.
